Individual Counselling Services

Supporting you to overcome the challenges which may present barriers to achieving wellness, fulfillment and success in all facets of life

The decision to reach out for professional help can be a difficult one to make; Individual Counselling Therapy (sometimes called “psychotherapy” or “counselling”) is a process through which individuals work one-on-one with a trained counsellor in a safe, caring, and confidential environment. Collaboratively, clients and counsellors can explore feelings, beliefs, thinking patters or behaviours, work through challenges and stressors, identify aspects of their lives that they would like to change, better understand themselves and others, set personal goals, and work toward desired change.

People often seek therapy for a wide variety of reasons and recognizing that there is a problem is the first step to finding a solution. A client and counsellor may work together for as few as three sessions or as long as several years, depending on the client’s unique needs and personal goals for counselling.
